The Spanish Training Institute (STI) provides support and instruction for those who wish to evangelize Hispanic communities. STI features World Evangelism Center staff members and mentors from the community who instruction on evangelizing the Spanish-speaking community.
This program has helped to build a bridge between the UPCI and the Hispanic population. Many new churches have been planted as a result of this program, and local congregations have been strengthened as a result of their members attending.
Goal of STI
STI equips men and women for effective evangelical ministries within their own communities.
Intended Participants
There are special classes for Ministers, Laity, and those interested in learning more about the Hispanic culture.
About the Courses
The Spanish Training Institute covers topics such as: Apostolic Doctrine, Home Bible Study, Youth Evangelism, Church Planting, Leadership, and Ministerial Ethics.
Courses are taught in Spanish, but all of them are translated into English via headsets. This is a great setting to learn about the Hispanic culture, and about effective ways to reach into this fast growing segment of our population. Each year there is a special series of lessons for the non-Spanish speaking pastors, focusing on reaching into the Hispanic culture, and methods of outreach.
Cost
Cost for this seminar is $275 per person, and $500 for each married couple. This includes all course materials, lodging for four nights, and breakfast and lunch.
